Pros

There is some pause with the netflix and hulu and vulu menus, but i do not find it irritating. Apps like hulu plus, netflix and vudu run nice and smooth with great image quality.

Cons

Navigating through smarthub is painfully slow with several seconds from when you hit the key to when something actually happens. Smart hub (the app platform) is extremely sluggish and has a clunky interface. As a smart hub it is absolutely useless.

The machine keeps asking me for a dns server # which should populate on its own. It is now stuck installing for the past 8 days. Spent 30 minutes entering acct data, took our money; oops, sorry, system is down.

Lg bd-e500za is a far superior product. When i call up samsung support, who most likely knew me by now, works way better. No bd live functions work. They all say i need to update my firmware to support the features required to play the disc.

Not good with minorly scratched dvds. My internet download speed is more than 3 times the minimum requirement speed, but the player would constantly stop the movies due to connectivity issues. Tried to use samsung app to rent a movie.

The download speed and quality of netflix and hulu+ are great, no buffer or quality issues and i only have a 5 mbps internet connection.

I don't use the built-in wi-fi so i can't speak to the quality of the signal and connection.

Price

I highly recommend this to anyone thinking about buying this and the price was excellent.

Easy to set up for streaming with wifi and is fast enough not to hickup on nexflix, vudu, pandoria smoothly.

And on top of that i always have a bluray dvd player if the cable goes down.

I was looking for a blu-ray player with wi-fi for my bedroom.
