I am giving the bluray drive 5 stars because it works great, its quiet, and its fast.

Iso file and with the right codecs.

But, there is an issue with the software.

The software that came with the player didn't work with the player.

And you simply can't beat the price.

I couldn't match amazon's $64 price anywhere else.

Around that price you cannot do much better.

After getting the drive from its packaging it is a very sleek piece of hardware.

Competitiveness

As a blu-ray reader and dvd burner, it is a great product.

The drive came with a cyberlink powerdvd software package that is ok (not the best suite out there, but it integrates nicely with wmc).

Fought the included software for 2 hours trying to make it burn a blu-ray disc.

You must however keep your bluray software up to date or it will not be able to play the latest blurays.
