Pros
This seal runs between both tub halves and prevents water from leaking on your floor. Made by gluing or electro sealing two ends of a rubber seal together. Has been over 4 months and everything is still sealed, no leaks.
Cons
The two drum cover halves are bolted together. When the two drum covers are connected, the plastic bulge goes outwards. This bulge is because the plastic is too thick.

Appears to be a quality product that fit perfectly.
I did consider using vaseline but this is a foam rubber seal and i wasn't sure about the compatibility of a petroleum-based product.

The oem seal in my particular washer was slightly different in that it was formed and had a flat bottom to it whereas this seal is round
