Samsung stove is junk and so are the replacement parts. Balance of trying to control the three heating zones on one controller suggest to me that the control compromises.

Our 31 burner wouldnt cycle on and off properly and would get stuck on full heat on any setting

Replacing it wasnt difficult but one of the plugs had stuck so required a screwdriver to pry off at the expense of a slightly cracked plastic cover

The old part always gave high heat regardless of how your turn the knob to low and the stove has only been used 5 years

Might need to get another one few years from now as these modern stoves are not as durable as in the past
