There is also a game mode which works very well with my ps4 slim and xbox series x. The only thing you would lose is the q-symphony support if you do not have a samsung television. Bose has better sound but tricky to setup.
The performance of this soundbar is truly exceptional. The true dolby atmos sound makes it seem like you're at the movies in your own home. Love this surround system.

So if your television isnt arc compatible but you have an optical audio output this system will still work for you
