The problem was that samsung must have gotten smart to the easy diy afforded by their use of screws to hold the side plates on

On my samsung branded cartridge the screws were replaced by fused plastic pieces

Not to be outdone i used my dremel to flatten the top of the plugs then drilled out the plugs
