Quality
In short, i'm happy with this product.
The quality of plastics and materials is excellent, everything is put together well and everything fits together without issue.
The build quality is excellent, all the components click together easily and seamlessly and come apart at the push of a button.
From build quality to performance i just can not fault it.
Price
It retails at £500 but i feel this is the right price.
Packaging/appearance
Bit of a shame as i sent a while trying to find these parts in the packaging only to realise they aren’t included in this model.
The filter comes apart very easily for washing, but of course then you have to wait for it to dry before re-using.
Competitiveness

I had read reviews that were not exactly promising but they seemed to be polarised some people loved the samsung others would never buy one again

I think overall the samsung is the better machine but is currently twice the price of the vax so i am not sure that i would necessarily choose it

Whilst it doesnt have the suction of my old vax it gets more use because i can skip around the house like a little dust fairy i wish i wish it had wall mounted storage because its floppy and needs propping up but i havent checked that this is possible with samsung
