Pros

Works perfectly fine. Works wonderfully. It works, and it was really inexpensive.

Good optical drive for the money. Bigger box came with some bubble wrap and was well packed.

Cons

If you are considering buying this drive because it is a samsung product, be forewarned, it is not. Amazon still lists this as a samsung drive although they have updated the image to the no-name drive that you will actually receive.

Amazon's website is a mess of broken links and pages under construction. There was no bubble wrapped to protect it. Returned for refund. I'm disappointed that even after i pointed out to amazon that the title, picture, and description is wrong, they h... Read More

It work just like any other drive you can find of good quality.

Price

Currently the drive is $30, which is almost double the price i payed 5 years ago which was $13.

I would mention it can be a little loud but then, for the price, i expected nothing else.

Shipping

No issues, fast burn, play back, and working great!

Competitiveness

Hope it lasts longer than the last one of the same model.
