I think the only real drawback is that a couple of the colors are just on the edge of being too bold covering up some writing and not drawing attention to it

The retractable is better to use than the ones you have to take the cap off because if you drop it it gets on your fabric

The retractable function is nice but i transitioned to the sharpie gel highlighters and would recommend them instead

I usually bring my girls to the office and they have left highlighters open and thenbee find them all dried
