From day one, this 1tb drive's performance is awful. It's slower than my cheapest usb drives. Small and stylish, slow and hot as ballz and for absolutely no reason. It is slower than its earlier generation.

It is so hot that i fear it could damage the device it is plugged into if the device is cheap/old/fragile.
Price
The write speeds are decent for the price, reaching up to 33mb/s, which makes moving large files quick and efficient.

Gemini ai tells me the standard usbc temp limit is 185°f and i estimate the sandisk was about 120°f so maybe my worries are for nothing
