Pros

The drive fits nicely into all my usb-c ports. The transfer rate is excellent and performs quite a bit better than my old 500gb usb ssd drive connected to the same usb c port. The only downside to this product is it gets very hot.

Cons

The speed of reading and copying files is exceptionally slow. Read and write appear to be slow. Copying large files it starts out really fast (~400mb/s), then stalls, then picks up slower.

I'm not sure if it's this vendor, or these 1 tb sandisk drives in general that are using the defective chips. Tried to move 100gb to it. We switched to a crucial x6 which is fine.
