Pros
It does it's job well. It lasts forever as far as i can tell. Can put books on tape on the thing and then go for a long bike ride and listen. They are very inexpensive.

Because i've accidentally washed this drive with the clothes twice and the drive wasn't damaged at all.

I've had the sandisk cruzer micro 128 mb for years, works great.
I also own the sandisk cruzer micro (the one with a black body and white slide tab that pushes the connector in and out).

There is no play no wiggle between the casing and the metal plug itself

Almost every plasticcased thumb drive i have owned eventually breaks due to movement at the joint between the plastic and the metal

Lap and the usb sockets on my laptops have invariable been facing outward from the sides or even toward the front of the computer

This is a very vulnerable place because i have these things called thighs and my laptop doesnt aways stay firmly glued to both of them at the same time

If the laptop shifts my leg may push up on the thumb drive from below and it will bend a little right at the point where the plastic meets the metal
