Sandisk is an aware of the issue and has issued a firmware update for the 4tb. Needing to be reformatted even after the sandisk firmware update.
I doubt sandisk/wd will stand by their product and make good on my purchase—refund money, replace drive, etc. Amazon needs to do better with the integrity of its marketplace.
