I've read that these can cause a bottleneck with read/write access speed, so i went big, especially with the cost of this ssd.
Packaging/appearance
I like how small and lightweight it is, making it easy to pack in my carry-on while traveling.
Competitiveness
I bought this to back up all my files from three different laptops, google drive, and icloud drive.
I had a 2tb drive already and liked it so much i purchased a 4tb pro which is even better!
I'm not sure i'd give the competition much more than a glance.
Note: this issue is the same as the samsung ssd i have as well.

It’s now 428gb and had gotten so slow i could barely use it on my mac laptop and would edit photos only on my phone

I moved the photo library from the hard drive to this flash drive which took 7 hours

Test i did with a 1gb file copied from my macbook air internal flash drive to the hard drive took 10x longer than copying the same file from my mac to this flash drive

Update only issue ive had is it did a force shutdown on my windows 11 pc while creating a new folder on the drive
