Cons

Here is a new low and a cheap piece of junk trying to prey on people. The two defective ones i received were bought on black friday and a lightning deal. This seems a bit suspicious maybe it is a coincidence.

It was used sporadically over the last 6 months. It was not used for daily use or used with multiple rw or on a heavy basis. It’s simply not dependable.

This ssd behaves like this out of the box with a mac reformat?

The first vacation and disk is dead with all the backup files i put on it. Failed in <1y using on a mac m1 and all data is lost. No way to retrieve the lost data. All movies files and date are lost.

It’s more expensive than i thought it should be but probably similar to other ssd’s of quality.

I use it to back up my nas data, and macos to encrypt it.
