Pros
Great transfer speed,perfect size to add to a keychain. This is my third 1tb dual thumb drive.
Strongly built with a premium metal casing and a huge 512gb storage capacity. All-metal (have a nice heft), and sturdy. Very clean and sturdy build quality.
The quality of this product is exceptional. You can trust sandisk to deliver a top performance product. Sandisk is a well known brand.
Works with iphone and android smartphone, also with pc, mac and chromebook. Only problem is that it is difficult to insert the usb-c side into samsung s10, s21 and s23fe phones. Very easy to use with both usb a & c ports.
Cons
Sandisk should be asheamed for selling junk like this. Looks a bit like a scam to me. To get a replacement under warranty requires that you ship it back at your own expense with a proof of delivery.
The write speed is unimpressive, maxing-out at about 7 mib/s, which is far below usb 2. Write speed starts to throttle down within seconds of writing data and will go all the way down to single digit then zero. Read speed is about 115mbs.

Speeds are where you think usb speed should be granted could be faster but im not complaining im just stoked to have half a gig of usb space at my beck and call when i need to back up or transfer something

I was unable to export prores video files directly from fcpx to the flash drive– the exports would consistently fail

Pros considering the 1tb storage of the drive it provides excellent portability on a keyring provides excellent compatibility with both usba and usbc plugs on average the read speed of data from the drive is about 350mbscons unfortunately the drive writes data in spurts

One may write data at 150mbs for a few seconds and then nothing at all for a few more seconds
