Pros & Cons
Pros
Car stereo has no problems reading mp3s from this usb stick even after a year of being plugged in, inside a glovebox. Fast and reliable. Good price for a 16 gb thumb drive.
Cons
Usb stick is painfully slow to do anything with. Unless you want to wait 10 eternities for it to load into ram due to it's horrible read/write performance. When it is full it is only 32gb, which are only 40 some gb.
If i fast forward it freezes about every 10 or 20 seconds. The warranty is for 2 yrs. It cannot even be formatted. It crashes and refuses to update. It is obvious that the memory stick was not new and that it is defective.
Highlights
Quality
Sandisk is always the go-to on good quality flashdrives for a great price!
The new one looks exactly like my older ones sans tape so i assume the quality is the same too.
Price
The price was great and i received it in a timely manner.
Competitiveness
My husband rides motorcycle and wanted more mucsic loaded onto an older flashdrive.
Even slower if using usb-i or usb-ii.
Nothing even comes close to sandisk products.

If you are doing a full backup be prepared for a transfer time of several hours to these even when using usbiii technology as the transfer rate
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Even slower if using usbi or usbii
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Im not sure if the slow transfer rate is due to the technology or microcraps windows 11 operating system or both
