Pros

Gb storage is ample in itself, but with an sd card you can listen to different music every day for months. Being able to have a separate card for things like christmas music is handy. Gb is plenty to load up podcasts and public domain audiobooks. Play... Read More

Passive ear buds. Works perfectly for listening to music or audiobooks in locations that internet and bluetooth are not allowed. You can use a cheap ear piece to listen or plug into a car stereo.

This mp3 player is a little gem. It's lightweight, has a nice sturdy clip, and it's inexpensive enough. I use it for years in housekeeping work on the job.

Cons

This is the third order they have * up and this one cost me money! Returning for refund. This mp3 player isn't worth the hassle. Please do not waste your money or time on this * merchandise.

Wd's customer service is less than satisfactory. Window inadequate for navigating the memory. very poor human engineering.

Sound quality goes through my bose head phones and is great.

With the earplugs provided the music is very good quality.

The battery in my first player died after a year of weekly use.

The problem is that it advertised 18 hours of battery life, i’ve been averaging about six hours.

Price

So i use these with a pair of inexpensive in-ear headphones, and it's fine.

Great value on this little mp3 player, which is easy to use, with straightforward navigation menus and tactile buttons.

I really don't understand why anyone would pay hundreds of dollars for an mp3 player and hundreds more for earphones.

Competitiveness

I've tried several different brands of mp3 player over the years, and i find this sandisk to be my favorite.

It turns on and off faster, it loads mp3 files faster, and the user interface is very similar to the old one.

Most other recorders dont have that option, its one or the other.

Unlike in some inexpensive players, the fm is stereo, and the display shows fm rds text (google it).
