Item as advertised. I'm pleased with my purchase it is very fast however it does get hot. In use, the drive is good. It is very quick transfer speeds for music use compared to other usb3 devices.
Cons

I had 2 64gb drives of the previous generation which were great for larger file transfers as they could sustain a high write speed.
I went for 256gbi was and still am amazed how quick it is to write massive files to it.
Those 2 drives saw heavy use and are starting to fail, so needed a replacement.

I lost all hope for any sort of usb 3 memory stick style storage devices having purchased several of those on amazon

Most of them are extremely slow to write and ok to read but we dont usually have hours to copy a bunch of files so the whole concept of large and slow memory sticks is pointless

I would say if you are doing small file transfers of less than 1gb there are cheaper drives available
