Pros & Cons
Pros
Different cameras requiring xd and sd, and a psp that needs memory sticks. If i use my pda or camera to sync or up/download files it takes a long time just to fully view everything on the disc by comparison to using this reader.
The trick is to make sure to plug the reader into one of the built in usb 2. Ports. I wish there was a way to keep it from popping up the download menu when you stick in a card.
This item is well worth the money! Sandisk probably has the best warranty on the market. This reader is an excellect product.
Cons
I have to plug and unplug it to my usb port. Watching paint dry is far faster than this unit downloading images. Sandisk card are ok but hardware i'm guessing they rebrand from someone else.

It's fast and takes all types of chips.
Packaging/appearance
This memory card reader came in a package with a 1gb memory card and it was perfect.
One more thing; some pictures of the sddr-99 that i have seen show that it comes with a little stand, but none came with mine.
Competitiveness
The original is on the fritz & i replaced it with a 99 cent one (different manufacturer) i bought on ebay.
