If you are looking for a mp3 player this is one you need to stock pile up on. I plan on buying another should mine ever give up the ghost, or land in a coffee thermos.
The battery life is great and will last for about 2 days of it just being on. Walking, mowing, to the gym, plugged into my car for days on end. My 3gb player keeps on ticking and had been used heavily.
Cons

Problems show up after the warranty expires. I don't mean the music paused, i mean that it just randomly cut in and out until i stopped moving the wheel. When i reset it, it freezes again at the same point.
It's just next time i will pay more for what i want and a service warranty. Spend the extra money and buy an ipod - it is worth it.

Sound quality is just perfect for everything including the radio.
Very user friendly, great battery life, and cool wheel for navigation.
Quality i let my buddy barrow it he must have leaned into it on something cracked lcd still turns on but can't find someone to repair.
The screen began to malfunction only after a year of use.
Price
This is the best bang for your buck!
Like new a great product for then money
It was undoubtedly worth the $50 i payed for it, but it's definitely not worth anywhere near what it's priced at now.
Let me start out by saying that i didn't pay almost $100 for it, i think i paid about $70 atbest buy about 4 years ago.
Shipping
The sansa arrived just as expected and made me a very happy person!
Packaging/appearance
Works great and showed up without a scratch or dent in the packaging.
It was easy as pie to re-download my new music onto this old device and it plays like it did the day i opened the package.
Competitiveness
Its a way superior product to this device's big brother, the sansa view.
It's now $299 used because sandisk discontinued the most popular mp3 player on the market because they hate profits and apparently hate us.
Its clearly an ipod nano competitor, and its just as good in some ways, not to mention cheaper at the time.

I had to organize the songs alphabetically using the organize functions in windows media player on my laptop

It was pretty fast and responsive and i had it for a year before the screen cracked and some of the leds were damaged rendering it nearuseless
