My only complaint is that the protective casing has turned yellow with age. The casing itself is otherwise in excellent condition.

The only sansa mp3 players that have a bookmarking capability - which is why we have 2 so we can listen to audio books from our library. And, then resume listening. Hence it's perfect for listening to audio book.

Best part of this player is that it runs on a single aaa battery, you don't ever have to worry about running out of power or forget to take the proprietary charger with you when you travel. Aaa battery is everywhere and easy to replace.

Cons

Those with the freeze issue -- there are some issues with older firmware that i had the first few months with my old one.

The biggest problem with the device is that once you put songs on it, you can not delete them.
