I use this flash drive pretty much everyday only once did it overheat in the middle of summer in a hot environment and when i plugged it my macbook did not mount or recognised it

This is a very handy usb deviceas well has having 32gb memory to store file it also alows the transfer to data between a deveice with a typea usb 3 connector to a device with a typec usb connector although at present there are not too many of these usb type c deveices on the market

At the time of writing devices using this are the 2015 macbook nokia n1 tablet and the chromebook pixel 2

While dropbox or some other cloudbased storage might offer more convenience it would require internet access which my usb stick doesn’t

First although there’s a protective bit it only goes over one end at a time so when being carried about one of the two connectors is unprotected

Second since i put the protector over the end i use i then end up almost instinctively wanting to plug the wrong end in to my computer because it’s the one that’s exposed

In hindsight i’d have preferred a smaller stick that didn’t have the second connector since i have no real use for it anyway but i see why this would appeal to those with the appropriate devices
