Pros & Cons
Pros
It's performed well and healthy with a respectable speed. One single issue performs very well. Product works and advertised and fast shipping.
The 512g is a great starter ssd with enough space for windows + several games where it doesn't seem cramped. The asus ram cache also add very good assistance. Using this as a gaming ssd and load times have gone down considerably.
Price per gb still needs to come down, but i got the 1tb unit mainly for games, programs and frequently used data.
I boot up very quickly which is great if you are impatient. For the xps desktop on win8. Bought the 1tb version and replaced my old sshd drive on laptop with it and now windows 10 boots up in 8 seconds.
Cons
It seems that on some pc's the hdd is given a unique id number.

Evo has -marginal- better performance, but the price isn't worth it imo.
512gb capacity at a low price without severely compromising performance!
Shipping
First, it is very fast compared to my old 7200 rpm drives.
These are not as fast as the ultra ii ssds.
Competitiveness
Works great in my atomos shogun flame.
At the time i bought it a samsung evo 512gb drive cost 30% more but only offered 10% better performance.
It's like i have a brand-new computer.
If you're looking for a 512gb ssd that has great performance at a low price buy this one!
