Both sangean seems to have very similar sensitivity, a bit less than degen but noticeable better than ccrane pocket.
Overall, i found this dt 180 the best of current packet radios.
I have another radio made by sangean but it did not have the timer to shut-off in 90 minutes.

The fm antenna is the earbud wire

The lock switch on the back of the radio disables all of the buttons so if you sit on the radio it wont change stations and when you slip it in your pocket the volume doesnt change
