Mounting: the device uses a mounting bracket very simular, if not the same to ram-mounts 1" ball mount set, you can change the angle, buy different attachments, etc that will work for this from them, i purchased a shorter arm to give the whole unit a cleaner lookwiring: it comes with two wires with no connectors, one positive, one negative, you have multiple options hooking this up-directly into the ignition, which means the unit powers up when the ignition it set to on-or--into the battery terminalsbeing that its been hard for me to find an ignition wiring diagram, i opted for the later, i used a fused connection typically used for motorcycle speakers that has an inline switch, a couple crimp connectors, and two ring terminal connectors later, boom, power is to the unitthe unit:unit build quality is great, it does take a bit to connect to the phone sometimes, if you are using a headset, i advise hooking the bluetooth up as headset(in my case sena) to the unit, then the unit to the phone, as if you hook up both to your phone, when you get a text it will switch the sound to the onboard speaker on the unit itself.  Read Less
