Pros

Sanwa lever is a beast. Bought this combo to replace the * and lever on my qanba drone 2. The 4 screws on the top of the joystick under the protective sheet are incredibly easy to strip if you have to remove them.

Cons

Six of the eight button faces were damaged and scratched from being jammed into this tiny little box. The problem is the ridiculous way they crammed the joystick and * in one tinylittle box with absolutely no protection from friction during shipping.

The sanwa buttons and lever both work great and are easy to install into my stick without using solder

They are made of polymer (abs), the switch is more smooth, smoochy and returns a little faster and has travel to react.

The joystick, when you use it to browse xbox menus, causes you to move twice for each action on the joystick.

Packaging/appearance

Taking one star off because of packaging, as one of the buttons has a chip in the edge that i noticed after installing.

4 stars otherwise would have given 5 since they look great and came nicely packaged.

2 the packaging was lame, they just throw the buttons on the box where the stick is, 4 button had a pin bend.

Be advised, the box that the lever and buttons are packaged in is very thin and flimsy and barely fits everything.

Competitiveness

Haven't tested other brands as i've heard everywhere that sanwa is sort of the best you can get.

For very little difference in cost i ugraded to sanwa parts vs buying the elite version of the f300.

Even thou it was a good purchase, if you want to upgrade i can't think in a better brand that sanwa.

If you are building or modifying a stick, you can't do better than sanwa for value and classic feel.
