You will use the positive wire from each switch and connect to one of the four colored wires on the connecter.
It's infinitely better than the one that came in the mayflash stick i got used.
Competitiveness
You will need the right cable and a usb encoder to use this with a pi4 retropie
Used this to replace the stock joystick on my mayflash 500.
I have this set up as a 4-way for pac-man, ms.
The input from this lever is very clean and makes it much easier to do proper motions, way better than qanba stock lever

The pins on the side that im supposed to plug into are almost all bent and will need to be carefully bent back to be able to fit the connector

Okay so i gave this joystick a five for ease of install but i stuffed it into a sega genesis three button arcade stick case and that took a little ingenuity because the joystick will not actually fit stock and the sega arcade case wasn’t designed for it
