To set up 4-way there is a rotatable inner piece of the clear gate which is well camouflaged with the transparent material. Easy to connect up to a usb encoder and use with mame etc. I have this set up as a 4-ways for pac-man, ms. Pac- man, etc.

Checked sanwa web site - mounting plate finish, pcb edge - all tells it is an replica / counterfeit than genuine sanwa. Down switch has an intermittent always on problem. Bad click and locking issues.
