    My circa 1980 micronta meter had worked great for over 40 years but it wasnt reading ac voltages correctly for some reason a few weeks ago

    I looked inside to see if i could find the reason and did observe one resistor burned severely

    However after noting that the schematic indicated that it wasnt related to the function id been attempting to measure i figured that there were quite possibly multiple problems with the meter that i likely couldnt fully repair
