Very good speakers and the sound quality is amazing.
Anyway, would recommend, very pleased with the quality of sound.
It seems like i paid for sony quality and got its chinese half brother… suny!
This combined with the inability to control the volume via windows when using them via usb has forced me to send them back.

Competitiveness
5mm jack & usb (which has a 24bit dac) so you cannot go wrong.
Bought these to replace a set of moukey speakers as i needed a set slightly smaller.
These are bigger than the audioengine a2+ but at one fifth of the price, i just laid one of the speakers on its side.

Update after 1 month i discovered that when the speakers are in bluetooth mode and there is no sound coming from the speakers they emit a highpitched tone its not particularly loud but it does get irritating after a while

I originally got these speakers to connect to my windows 11 pc directly via the usb cable however they work very oddly in this mode

You can turn the speakers up and down via the control dial but if you attempt to change the volume via the pc windows sound settings or keyboard buttons the volume doesnt change at all even though the screen indicates that it is

The volume and sound quality are generally adequate for a smaller space though it does lack the richness of sound provided through bigger boxes
