Pros & Cons
Pros
Fantastic bike rack. Holds bikes comfortably. With 3 bikes however, i find the spacing is a bit tight.
Hold-down straps and clips that attach the rack to the car are robust. Happened on my subaru. It looks good on a subaru outback, and my last one got caved into my car by some idiot who hit me from behind.
This rack is also super easy for even an impatient and mechanically uninclined person like myself to install and use.
The three built on straps that hold each bike to the rack are easy to tighten and are ergonomic for tightening. No more threading the strap through awkward plastic buckles. The only recommendation is to use straps to secure steering wheel to the frame... Read More

Highlights
Quality
So far so good with the saris.
Works well, and very durable in all weather
The quality of this bike rack in general is worth the increase in price over the cheaper models.
I don't see shaking or movement of any kind with the bike or the carrier.
Price
The price is very nice, and saris is a very solid brand.
Love this product, well worth the price go saris bones
Competitiveness
Overall, a solid rack and worth the upgrade from the $50 competitors.
All in all, a really good rack at a much lower price than similar models from thule or yakima.
And hey, it's made in the usa!
It's safeeasy to useeasy to setuplooks spiffy on my cargetting 3 bikes on it is a little tough, but it will worki usually just put 2 on.

By security i assume the amazon star rating means securely holds your bike on the rack and holds the rack on your car not that it has antitheft features

If you leave your bike on your car using this or most racks a thief could steal your bike of course

Most of all it is sturdy even with more than 1 bike on it

The only word of caution i would give is that this rack is not navy blue although it may appear that way in some images

The loading spots do not like wide or weird shaped frames such as my friends giant defy 5
