Pros & Cons
Pros
It's whisper quiet, easy to assemble, and easy to mount/dismount a bicycle. Much quieter in lower gears. I live in a condominium and i use the trainer on an open loft above the living room with not noise issues.
I've called saris many times (customer support is only available 10-3 m-f) it meets my needs. I'm glad i invested a little more to get this over a lesser-priced option.
I recommend the front wheel leveling block and a bike trainer pad. I really like the way the trainer engages with the back axel of my bike. My one complaint is that i have a through axle bike and they did not include a skewer compatible for through ax... Read More
This trainer is very sturdy and well built. Easy to assemble, easy to use. Keeps the legs fresh, sorta, for spring.
Cons
The ‘lollipop’ handle’s rod diameter is too large for the slot so - surprise - no spring action.
Garbage machining on an otherwise decent product. The pricetag is really high for a trainer with no power meter built in. The trainer has quite a few scuffs/scratches with obvious use and wear and tear.
Customer service is non-existent. On-line help is useless. Due to this defect the trainer is unusable.

I called support and was told that the device is for 26" and taller tires, will not work on 24".
4 months of use nothing has changed.
Price
This is a wonderful product and i’m glad i invested a little more to get this over a lesser-priced option.
He directed me to ebay to an aftermarket adapter (cost $60.
Good for the price, easy to setup and very quiet when in use
Shipping
Fast ship out and good shipping service.
Packaging/appearance
My one disappointment was the way its packaged.
Competitiveness
I have used many trainers in the past and this is as good as a cycleops which is a high end trainer.
This saris fluid trainer is a breath of fresh air compared to my old, clunky, blackburn mag trainer.
Compare that to a feedback sports trainer, which is triple the price, but then you have to take the front wheel off when you train.
Have another bike on different trainer and costed more.
