Pros & Cons
Pros
The only tool you need is a wrench to tighten one nut. The trainer comes with an includes skewer and you will need to put that on your bike to have the easy on and off. The new skewer just makes it so that you can easily line the bike up in the traine... Read More
Cycleops fluid 2 automatically adjust the resistance to simulate real life riding, from flat roads to hilly. We just leave ours in the hardest setting and then shift into a lower gear to make it feel easier. One thing that could be improved in the dir... Read More
Construction is above par. Stable and sturdy. I'm 6 foot 4 230 lb and this seems to hold my weight.
This is a very well-designed stationary trainer that will let you keep in shape during the winter without much trouble. For me, i use the gearing on my bike to change the tension of the ride, but the option is there if you choose. One tiny drawback is... Read More
I have a carpeted apartment, but the noise level is not a nuisance. It is rather noisy, so i'll be wearing headphones to watch a movie while i ride.
Cons
Heed the pictures of this item as the rear roller does not come in metal. I'm sure it was a fluke, but i'm still a little irritated.
Highlights
Quality
The trainer is well built and solidly made.
This is an excellent bike trainer: easy to assemble, rugged, and runs smooth and quiet.
It is noisy and automatic gear does not work as expected it, it does not fit the gear changer on the rudder of the bike.
It is much louder then a fan running as some others users have posted and you can't listen to music or tv without needing to tu... Read More
Price
Without the block, it's a very large $200 paperweight.
Definitely worth the extra $$ over a cheap and poor performing trainer.
Packaging/appearance
I opened the package on the floor and assembled it on the floor, wen through the box 4 times, no nut.
It seems like it should either be included (it's an extra $20, not like it's doubling the price, nor expensive enough to be sol... Read More

It seems like it should either be included its an extra 20 not like its doubling the price nor expensive enough to be sold separately as an entirely necessary component or that they should make a very big deal about you needing it on the packaging and listing

The one complain i have is that the resistance adjustment offers very little resistance if any at all
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I contacted the manufacture and was told that the function of the magnetic resistance would not supply the level of resistance i was looking for and would need to get the resistance through my bike gearing
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
They recommended that i switch to one of the fluid trainers
