The bike's rear must be on the same side as the anti-sway strap- prevent theft by locking the rack to your hitch using something like the master lock 2848dat- loop heavy-duty security cables (like kryptonite kryptoflex) through the bike frame and wheels and around the rack to make it more difficult for people to steal your bike or parts (like quick-release wheels)- further secure the bikes (frame and front wheel) from wobbling by either using a strap, velcro, or bungee cords- drive slowly over speed bumps, and don't exceed 70 mph (same recommendation as for yakima/thule racks)notes- it should be noted that this saris rack (rack mount) is not the same style as the yakima holdup (tray mount), and as such this comparison may be a bit unfair.  Read Less
