First, this is a very high quality bike rack, and perfect for the wall of my man cave.
This is not only sturdy but attractive yet it doesn't really stand out even without the bike.
You can mount it directly to the drywall, but this could (stress could) be a problem for a heavier bike.

The beechwood is a very nice accent that clearly adds to the total package.

Drill a pilot hole for your screws since i pretty much stripped them putting them into the stud without a pilot hole

The instructions dont really tell you how to do it and i can see how someone might damage the light by thinking its velcrod on there
