The top fits snug and the drinking spout that flips open seems to seal well to keep the heat in.
It states not to wash in the dishwasher but i made the mistake of doing that and the functionality was not jeopardized.

Overall it's a great coffee mug for the price, and it comes with a warranty.

The interior is stainless steel but the outside is coated with some sort of paint

The cup walls are thin and dont believe are double wall
