This likely means they are greener bulbs more environment friendly but doesnt necessarily mean they will last longer than other bulbs since it usually depends on the ballast quality

I switched to these 5000k bulbs mainly because the 2700k bulbs i had in my bedroom were nice for accent lighting and background light while winding down with a movie but not for doing something requiring keen eyesight
