Pros & Cons
Pros
The spot focuses most of its light directly over the sink with enough light spill-over to illuminate the counter to each side very nicely. Also the wider 60 degree spread is great and the light gently tapers off to the sides, eliminating hot spots. Wo... Read More
These bulbs give off a bright clean light. It dims linearly (smoothly) unlike many of the cheapy led bulbs. They also work perfectly with the broan three-position lamp dimmer. They dim without any issues, using an old x10 dimmer module.
Cons
The light makes a buzzing sound and flickers. Removal of the bulb from socket reveals a spot of burnt plastic-- looks like a brown blister. The color is more of a yellowish orange.
I'm now curious to see if the other two i ordered will fail as quickly. Of those 5 have failed after between 3-6 months. Burned out in 2019.
Pretty disappointing. The light is not what is advertised. Waste of time.
After 2 months, the bulb turns itself off and on. The bulb has maybe 20 hours on it max.

If you care about the quality of lighting, this is worth it.
I bought the exact same one again to replace it because i was so pleased with the original.
I'm very happy with this led bulb, recommended!
Price
This bulb just nails it in every aspect and the price is great too.
Cons: downside is the cost needs to be more comparable to the halogen bulbs.
Packaging/appearance
I am happy i found the satco 3500 kelvin bulb as it produces a perfect light in between the above two.
After quite a bit of searching, i hit upon the satco s9419 par30 short neck led 5000k.
Competitiveness
These have a bit shorter neck than most led par20 bulbs.
Comparable to 75w 1050 lumen output halogen light bulbs in both output and construction.
I have searched high and low for a dimmable led par20 replacement.
It dims linearly (smoothly) and to a nice low level, unlike many of the cheapy led bulbs.

I found some chinese noname brand leds that were almost the right dimensions but the light was purpleish in hue

Also the chinese bulbs required you to turn the dimmer to 100 and back down to your preferred level which was slightly annoying
