I've tested it with multiple different laptops and it's worked on all of them.
1 cable compared to those of other companies.
Only time will tell if they have similar longevity and effective service life as other competitive products on the market.

You do need a usbc port that has dp or alternate display capability or a thunderbolt port to use this cable

It will not display video if you just plug it into a usbc port that doesn’t support video output
