The only reason i am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the instruction manual and the way the brackets hook onto the window

It keeps the sun out and even though it did not fit inside my window panedidn’t think it would it worked well with being installed on the outside

Out of the box the shades pull up a bit when lowered all the way but they should be alright after some light use

Those who were complaining had ordered the light filtering shades so in case you are being discouraged by negative reviews just look at the name of the shade they ordered which states light filtering
