Pros

It is bigger than i anticipated and am glad i didn't need to mount it on a snowmobile or atv. Good older american brand.

Cons

Poor material of the case is scary as broken mounts allowed metal screws to contact the circuit board.

The maintenance mode is a great feature that helps ensure that my batteries stay in optimal condition over time.

Tired of replacing the battery right after the warranty is up.

This is one of those items i should have bought a long time ago as i have been met with the dead battery click too often.

Price

Overall for the price it’s a bargain.

But it’s cheap for a schumacher charger so guessing that how they kept price low.

Shipping

Update: i requested a replacement charger from amazon and received a new unit three days later.

Packaging/appearance

Since the box showed no sign of damage and it came inside a second box, i don’t believe the damage was caused during shipping.

But you might think it was all the booster box.

Schumacher is a well known brand and i have good personal experience with another of their chargers.

In addition to its cold weather capabilities, the schumacher charger also offers other notable features.

I have also bought other schumacher chargers for diesel trucks and atv's.
