The included power cord is a little short and combine this with how the vesa mount is setup, means the monitor sits about 3 inches higher than an older model. Highest recommendation. Hard to beat for the size and price.

This monitor is solid. That's all there is to say.
Great color depth and brightness for a 2 window room. Slim bevel makes it seem like a ultrawide experience. Only thing i don't like is the cheapness of the stand. It has a little distorted look but it isn't really noticeable.
Cons
The blue light sits there flashing, like, it's turned off, but there is no click in the power button. The color accuracy is terrible on this panel. This makes cad drafting difficult.

Packaging/appearance
It arrived wrapped in styrofoam inside the box, so this isn't really surprising.
Competitiveness
Actually i depended upon my techie son who compare specs with other monitors and recommended this one.
The picture is much than most other monitors, and i do have high-end video cards.
