Pros & Cons
Pros
Sceptre has a 'no dead pixel guarantee' the screen is super bright. Text is clear and sharp and the large viewing space is a whole 'nother world from my previous 27 monitor. Brightness and brightness are superb.
While advertised as a gaming monitor, the ample real-estate of the 31. Screen makes it a great all-purpose monitor. As it is a 'budget' monitor there are some caveats, but for the price they are perfectly acceptable.
Monitor has 1m gtg latency and its brightness peaks at 450nits with hdr400. Amazing refresh rates, but please check your device's hz capacity. This monitor is brighter than most other 1440p hdr gaming monitors that peak out at around 400.
The screen is easy to re-position up and down, or tilted. Some of the weight is attributable to the monitor's size and the beefy stand. This one has tilt and vertical adjustment, so it is a huge bonus.
Cons
The interface for the monitor is very basic and at times buggy. Stand by mode will also bug out and intermittently wake the monitor every 30-45 seconds with the no signal message. It is highly frustrating it only works with two of my devices and often... Read More
Same problem as the hdmi ports, an obsolete port. When firestick was plugged in, there was noticeable damage to the body. There was some kind of food or other particulate matter stuck to thebody.
Sceptre refuses to give a timeline to repair, and to top it off can reject your rma if it gets damaged in the process of shipping it in. Now i have to deal with packing the item and mailing it back to amazon.
Black band makes it feel cheap and really will just not do for some folks out there with ocd or triple monitor setups. Rgb design is cool (bracket shapes on the back), but i could only find 1 lighting setting and it's this rainbow scrolling effect tha... Read More
Highlights
Quality
There big lol coming from 22in these are huge the quality is amazing on my pc it feel so smooth it’s super bright as well.
The base is very sturdy, with no wobble whatsoever, which is a huge plus for a work environment.
Tried adjusting every setting, factory reset, different cables and ports.
There’s the outer frame and then an inner bezel on the screen itself, which makes it feel bulkier than i’d prefer.
Price
Despite these minor design quirks, it’s still a great monitor for its price and works perfectly for business use.
Not that big of a deal, i decided to live with it because it was a good price.
Shipping
2 months later i moved into a new place and carefully transported this monitor separately in my vehicle.

They’re quite thick—about 34 of an inch—and there’s actually a double bezel situation going on
