This tv (40 inch) has strikingly good picture quality. Had this tv for 2 years now, it's on for 4-10 hr a day 6 days a week and still * same as the day it was unboxed.

Very good picture quality and colors are crisp and bright. Great picture, works great.

Cons

Pulled it out of the box and was greeted with a completely useless screen. Yikes. I'm somewhat confident that it’s the backlight that broke, because it will show the sceptre logo.

The tv has problems turning on while connecting to my streaming device (roku premiere +) the surround sound continually drops out completely while using the built-in audio sytem. The picture is low quality and the sound is absolutely ridiculous.
