I would have been happy to send the bad one back but i guess shipping was more than that was worth.

Packaging/appearance

The tip on my blade was not ground even and i am no real fan of the blade coating.

The schrade schf38 is an outstanding tool for camping,survival and living in the woods should the shtf!

Competitiveness

A great knofe to customize and make it your own.

I used it to chop smaller trees/branches and it will split wood like a champ as well.

I also made a kydex sheath and added a lanyard to the pommel and a sheath tie down both made from paracord.

That duty is left to my esee 6.
