Edge Retention

Customers are generally positive about the edge retention of the Schrade SCHF47TA neck knife, praising its sharpness and durability right out of the box. However, some users caution against using it with a chain and suggest alternative attachments for secure carrying. The sheath's retention can be an issue for some, requiring caution during initial use.

Holds a good edge came shaving sharp sheath holds firm great little light neck carry knife

The chain breaks first and theres already several scratch marks on the blade from drawing/sheathing it.

So wear gloves the first time checking sheath retention.

Title only reflects the fact that despite my excessive meaning over 200 x taking this knife in and out of the sheath its still very very tight i mean if you dont have an easy come apart connection on the paracord holding this on your neck you might decapitate yourself not a one handed deployment

Id say with my experiences with schrade50 chance something is not symmetrical or the mov steel will chip severely on larger blades due to bad heat treat
