Highlights
Quality
Splitting wood with the knife was a breeze.
I was sent a replacement and after testing (not trying to destroy it lol) i am pleased and satisfied.
There is some nice mild jimping on the top, which you don't get with the micarta scale option by the way.
216, (roughly 7/32,) thick, with the last .
Price
I was looking at knives that were twice the price!
Otherwise, for the price, i love it.
Shipping
I paid $31 for this knife with shipping.
Packaging/appearance
I'd recommend coating the knife edge with gun oil after every use.
Knife was very sharp right out of the box.
Mine came sharp out of the packaging, could use some work i'm sure but i'm not picky.
You may need to hit it with a file to remove coating.
Competitiveness
Was considering a k-bar, but saved at least half the cost and got an excellent product.
It has enough heft for chopping and competes with knives well above its paygrade like the becker series or the jg2 from esee.
The sheath is just fine, but not as robust as a kydex or plastic sheath.
So glad i decided on this for the price, it's a no-brainer.
