Pros & Cons
Pros
Replacing my schumacher bt-250 with these. Because the springs are heavier, it gets a better connection on corroded battery terminals. Quick read and strong springs on the connectors.
Cons
The instructions indicate that this means the battery is unstable. The whole process is convoluted to say the least.
Highlights
Quality
Good quality tester that is accurate and easy to use.
A decent tester with consist results, sturdy materials and clamps.
Just clamp it on to a car battery and it fires out your basic info on the battery!
Bought unit to check out my warranties wrangler battery before warranty runs out.
Price
Great little code reader, inexpensive but works great!
Best i've found yet for the money.
Works as needed cost a lot still worth having
Competitiveness
This battery tester is a big improvement compared to my 1960's unit.
I have an old snap on battery tester with load button but it doesn’t compare to this unit .
Other than that it's a excellent tester up to 1200 cca.
