"this thing is awesome!

If your car has an electrical drain, disconnect the battery first, so its not drawing down the batteryhook up charger leads. Works well, well built and holds a charge for a long time before having to recharge unit.

This charger is heavy and solidly built. It's not heavy and the hanger helps a lot with hanging it under the hood. No problem jumping boats, lawnmowers, trucks or cars.

Cons

Don't want to have usb chargers, 12v outlets, air compressors, dc-ac converters. Interstate battery technical support says some chargers can harm your vehicle with to high voltages. Trying to find any battery charger that actually works is a chore.

Test lamp shows a full charge but putting a volt meter across the two cables shows zero volts. Couldn't figure out how to quick start or jump a battery.

I love the thoughtful cord storage, big well made clamps and cables, and digital screen.

I highly recommend this is a great charger charges my 12v battery fast and does a great job analysing the condition of the battery.

Charged up battery in about 3 hours after truck cranked over slowly after sitting for almost 2 weeks.

If my 2019 kia soul sits for a couple of weeks without being driven the year old factory battery goes dead.

For the price and capability, its hard to beat.

I've had this jumper box for awhile now and you can't beat it for the price and size.

The cat one i bought at costco was $100.
